Qarls Texture Pack Oblivion

I've been reading up on Qarl's Texture pack (version 3 and it's 10MB patch, 1.3) and am considering applying them. I don't want to grenade my Oblivion install.I've got some cool characters saved and the game runs smoothly and perfectly. It runs for me at about 25 fps with spikes any time I enter or leave a building, in which it drops to about 1 or 2. And it seems to stutter sometimes in cities.I mean you can try it, but I don't think you should be expecting to get your normal 60 fps.Rofl, are you kidding? My 2 7950GT's 2 gigs of Corsair XMS2, intel e6600 dualcore can handle it great with no lag. XDI'm running vista. My cpu isnt touched in oblivion. But about 1.8 - 1.9 gigs of ram is used.
