Windows 10 Education Usb
Dec 09, 2016 I am trying to create a bootable usb for windows 10 education. I already have the iso downloaded. I have tried the windows media creation tool only to find it has options for windows 10 home, pro, and N versions, and tries to download a new copy of windows, but no education. Is this supposed to then make tis into a 32bit and 64 bit installer. For me it didn’t seem to change my USB at all as I was still offered Windows 10 Pro, Home, Home Single Language, and Windows 10 Education (all 64bit). This are the same options I was offered before I added the ei.cfg.

After Windows has finished loading files, you will see the installer screen. Choose your language, time and currency format, and keyboard or input method. Click Next, and then Install now. Enter the product key for Windows 10 Education from IUware, and click Next. Read the license agreement. To agree, check the box and clickNext.
Choose the Custom: Install Windows only (Advanced) installation option. The next step deletes all the data on your hard drive. Make sure you've backed up important files and have the installation disks for your software.You will now see a list of the partitions defined on your hard drive(s). If your computer has more than one physical hard drive, the drives will be displayed as separate disks (e.g., Disk 0, Disk 1). Follow these instructions only for the disk that contains your existing Windows installation, leaving any others alone. If you are unsure which disk contains your Windows installation, ask for assistance before continuing. Do not format all of the partitions in this menu, but only the partition for Windows.With the desired partition selected, choose Delete.
This will prompt you to erase everything on the partition. When you click Next with the newly createdUnallocated Space selected after formatting, the Windows installation will begin. At this point, the process will be automatic for approximately 20-45 minutes. Ensure that the computer is plugged into a power source while you wait.
Your computer will restart after installation and begin configuring devices and settings. It may restart several times. Do not click anything until you see the 'Get going fast' screen, or are presented with the option to enter your product key, if you didn't do so earlier.
When you are at the 'Get going fast' screen, choose Customizesettings on the bottom left. Click Next through the first resulting screen. On the second screen, in the section titled 'Connectivity and error reporting', turn off the following settings for security reasons:. Automatically connect to suggested hotspots. Automatically connect to networks shared by your contacts. Click Next and let the installation process continue.
On the 'Choose how you'll connect' screen, choose Join adomain and click Continue. You will not actually join the computer to a domain. This option lets you set up a local account on the computer.

You can add a Microsoft account after you've set up the computer. Enter a name and password for this computer ( not your IU passphrase) to set up a local account. Click Next and let the computer finish processing. Once you have booted into Windows 10 and are viewing the desktop, be sure to adjust the time zone by right-clicking the clock in the system tray.
